It finally actually feels a little bit like Christmas tonight. I've lived in Florida for my whole life so I'm used to it being warm all throughout the year, but when a cold front comes through and the temperatures drop, then I really feel like it is winter time. I know many people from other places wouldn't consider it "winter" at all, but when you're from Florida there is reason for excitement when the temperature drops below 60 degrees Farenheit. It is not often that one has the privelege of such nice weather and less humidity! Oh, and I also got to wear my boots, which never happens. I've seen other people here whip out the boots as soon as it's in the 70s but really? It's not necessary!
Tonight my mom and I went to see the movie "Dan In Real Life," but beforehand we went to Panera Bread and I made friends with the cutest little blonde-haired boy. I love kids so much and will be really happy when I get to have my own someday :D Oh and then we went to World Market, a really neat store that sells things from all over the world. I bought some MILKA shocolade from Deutschland and the taste brought me back to the country. My mom also bought Christmas shortbread cookies from Scotland, which I am looking forward to eating! Anyhow, the movie was great. It was hilarious. I laughed out loud so many times. Steve Carrell did a great job playing a serious role and I actually thought he looked pretty attractive. The movie was also pretty emotional, and I felt bad for 'Dan' a lot of the time. I enjoyed it greatly though.
I'm not quite ready for Christmas, but I've still got time. We just put our tree up and decorated it today. I love Christmas trees, they bring such a cheerful presence to a room. Sadly, ours is not real, but it's still pretty! I really want to find an Evergreen candle though because I love the smell of Pine trees. I bought a Gingerbread Latte from Seattle's Best today and it was very delightful. They even put a cute little gingerbread cookie on top :)
I'm still working on my application to Relevant. I'm almost done, the application is not even that long or hard, I just want my answers to be well thought out because I really really want an internship with them. If you pray, please pray for me in this area and I would greatly appreciate it!
Well, that's it for now, I just felt like doing some blogging action.
Hope everyone's well!
con amor,
Nessa
