Hey I made this with my cell-phone camera in honor of nikko :) After four years of giving him daily meds and love we are now fighting for his life and to at least make him comfortable in his last week.

This is the first time I have ever been in a good position to help a cat through the worst; it is in fact the worst now and I am deeply sad yet honored to be able to offer him the best of home care and hospital care. The SFSPCA has a loving army of people who are caring for him and helping me be the home nurse as he fights out his possible last days. I have learned how to give subcutaneous fluids, shots and be master of emergency moments.

The doctors are amazed at how well we have done for four years, I didn't know it was an illness with such a bad prognosses, nor did or do I care (I would never refuse a cat due to age or illness, in fact I like adopting animals that nobody wants), he's being really loved for, but he is only one in a million or billion who need.
