Inspired by many D&B artists from the pioneers like Photek, Goldie, Roni Size, the plan is to create music that you can listen to outside a club, but still retain its energy. Weve had listener friendly albums like Modus Operandi and New Forms before, they were deep and interesting, but they didnt hit hard at the same time. They were good headphone albums. We want you to get deep in to this music but not need to hear it in a club or in a mix, each track without 3 minutes of hi hats and whooshes before you get that energy!

Wrong John B! I'm Jon B! Subtle, I know...but John B is fucking dope and I love New Formz! I've fallen out of touch with drum and bass, but I think I have some of your singles (unless I've got the name wrong). I used to listen to LTJ Bukem, Digital, John B, Goldie, Ronisize...I can't remember half of it anymore.

MAGENTA will be a radio PROGRAM dedicated to electro music, in a wide sense:
from the easy listening to the danceable one,
with a special regard for the sets that suggest different styles.
