Nicolai Riccardo Grey lives in Monaco and Montréal, Canada and has been releasing experimental yet highly emotional music since 2001. His songs are an expressive, soulful blend of torpid acoustic arrangements and state-of-the art electronics, brimming with details and ideas both in terms of songwriting and production.
His works have included collaborations with prestigious artists such as minimalist legend Charlemagne Palestine, Martyn Bates (of Eyeless in Gaza), tenor Vasile Moldoveanu, Jessica Constable, Kris Force and many more. Over the last years, he has also worked on several scores and soundscapes for films and music videos, as well as video games and multimedia art installations.
He is a current member of 230 Divisadero (with Matt Shaw of Tex La Homa), the "virtual collective" 48 Cameras (with Jean Marie Mathoul, David Coulter, Gerard Malanga...) and the art-folk duo Foxtrot Empire.
