"Let the music speak for itself"

What is Nina Slash? Well... it's a trick question to tell you the truth. The idea began a few years ago... but what I can assure is that whoever is behind it, really cares about the only thing that matters: the MUSIC.

That is why you will find more info about the music than about whoever plays or contributes material to the group.

What we can tell you though is that there is a new album on the horizon for this year!

After attending two Massive Attack and one Pet Shop Boys concert in a span of three days in October 2006, the ground was set! " I just felt really inspired by these gigs", says one of the members. "There was something so pure and authentic about these gigs that really pushed me to write and experiment in a way that... I know it sounds cliché... I had never done before".

"But... please be careful, it doesn't sound like a mix of both of these bands" insists another member. "The influences just don't end there, there is so much music out there to absorb that you can't limit what you are capable of!"

Most of the material got written between October 2006 and February 2007. Then came the task of recording the songs. Although we really can't tell you why it has taken longer to record than to write, we do know that by October 2007 the main bulk of the recording was finished.
