People

Tavish is an internationally recognized artist and art director. He grew up in the snow filled parking lots of central Canada before moving to Montreal to pursue a degree at McGill University. Having since then moved back and forth between New York and Montreal, he has worked on a variety of innovative projects, including stints with acclaimed design firm Epoxy Communications and creative technology firm Freeset. His design work has won numerous awards, including recognition from the New York Art Director's Club, Print Magazine, and the London D&AD Awards, while his paintings have been featured in several publications including Taschen’s Illustration Now. He holds a degree in Art History from McGill University and a graduate certificate in Publishing from NYU. Tavish's site is Acidtwist.

Celia Marais is originally from Paris, France and comes from a background in film, photography, and installation art. Years after accidentally landing in North America, she's still asking herself where all the snow comes from. In the meanwhile she's been directing music videos, designing freelance, exhibiting her photos, and working on conceptual short films and installations. In 2002 she was awarded the CIAM grant for her video installation 'Why Was It So Hard to Let My Tamagotchi Die?'. She holds a degree in Communications & Multimedia from UQAM and a graduate certificate in Digital Technologies in Design and Art, from Concordia University.
Loco Locass | Groove Grave

This video made for popular French Canadian rap group Loco Locass went on to become the most watched video of the summer on MusiquePlus and was nominated at the MuchMusic Video Awards. To mirror the song's anti-consumerism theme we filmed imagery of luxury bags burning. We juxtaposed that with an animation of the song's lyrics, inspired by backlit signs in Montreal's Metro stations.
