why do i always start with a greeting? hmm... thought i would make a post for once in my life.

what have i been up to lately? well, i have been busy gearing up for classes at ringling. orientation starts thursday. stoked? yes, very much so.

another cool thing is that i will be moving into a different apartment. it's a one bedroom with much more breathing room. i will have space to set up a computer desk and even have a little deck area. it will be nice. and it's more centrally located to school and work for me, so it will be much more conveniently located. and it's still fairly close to my church, which i love (and it was actually featured in the sarasota newspaper recently).

this past weekend i drove up to clearwater to chill with jerry and dylan. we were planning on watching the two first bourne movies and then going to see ultimatum. we did see the two, but we didn't get to the theaters. we did, however, get to orlando for a car show in old town (kissimmee). that was pretty sweet. while we were in the orlando area, we also stopped by ripley's believe it or not museum. they got some crazy stuff there... seriously. one of the many oddities was a photo and story of a man who had two eyes in each eye. that was ridiculous. it was a fun weekend for the most part.

i did however get stopped by a cop while i was in clearwater for running a light that was barely red. it was orange. i didn't mean to run it, it looked like i had enough time... the light was shorter than i thought. the cop ended up giving me a ticket for it - which i am pretty mad about, especially because later on that night i was sitting at a different stop light and there was this other car there that kept inching forward and then finally just went. the light didn't even turn. i guess they couldn't wait. where was the cop then? some justice that is.

anyway, off of my soapbox now... i did manage to snag another awesome photo. for those of you who know me, i'm sure you know how happy this made me.
