Rain

It has been one of those weekends, one of the ones where you aen't too sure of what the weather is going to do and because you don't know you can't tell of what you want to do because you are afraid of making plans and setting them in concrete because you can't tell if the weather is going to change for the worst or not. Thats what this weekend has been like.

Saturday was fine-ish and I did a little shopping. Actually what ended up happening was Richard and I did laps around three shopping centres looking for clothing for myself because I needed some new stuff but couldn't commit to buying anything because most of the clothing was nothing more that cheap imported crap with a high price tag. I didn't see the point of paying a fortune for a shirt because of its logo when its no thicker than a piece of muslin. I eventually decided on a shirt, which was in the style of a business shirt but was unable to commit to a new pair of pants, namely because I don't know how to sew and modify them to make them 'cool' in my eyes. This would mean that I would have to pull favours with someone who knows how to do that kind of thing and hope that they can fully modify it all to my design. After this we decided to do some food shopping and spent most of the $150 budget on buying junk food and snacks because at work I morph into Jabba the Hut and spend my entire day snacking on anything and everything, all the while spending a fortune on the various vending machines. It was decided that stocking up at a supermarket and bringing in junk food is a much cheaper option, slashing my spending in half.

Sunday was spent at Bondi Juntion in the mrning as it had been a whil since we were both of there and although we initially set ou to purchase more clothing, that didn't end up happened because they decresed the free parking to two hours, so that meabnt we had to leave earlier than before, ergo we didn't do what we came to do. That time was spent searching for each other in the maze of prominades and electrical stores. After bailing on there we headed to the city where I found the dream fridge, which was simply massive and perfect. We did lunch at the usual place and attempted to do some more clothes shopping. This plan was doomed from he start as I am hard to shop for. I think I am going to have to buy everything when I'm in the states. One thing about that is that it will be a lot cheaper.
