About

Noxius is made up of three passionate musicians: Filippo Conti aka FRENK, Alessandro Capitani aka TPL and Andrea Valesini aka ZINI. In June 2006, friendship and the mutual passion for music between Frenk and TPL give birth to their first project: Greenlab. The two rent an underground garage in Rome and together with their longtime friend Zini, they begin to record their first tracks and mixes. In 2007, Greenlab starts to become known in Rome for their "Call the Neuro" DnB nights, who among others, featured the likes of Chook, Dj Radic, Dabs, Maztek and JL.
In 2008, the chemistry between them and their accumulated experience in music production sets the scene for the birth of Noxius; an evolution of their previous project. Noxius hits the scene with "Dawn of the Dead", a collaboration with Dabs, a young producer from Rome with more than enough credibility in the international DnB scene. "Dawn of the Dead" is immediately released on the French label M-Atome Digital while another two Noxius tracks reach Abducted Recordings in Florida and are scheduled for release in 2008.
The Transistor Technology compilation, which will include various Italian DnB producers such as Maztek, Decepticons, D_Per, Evilbass & Kuzam, Hallucinator and Noxius is also scheduled for 2008.
The sound of these three young artists is dark, influenced by the most "neural" sounds of electronic music.
At the moment they reside in Rotterdam, Holland, they are attending a course at the School of Audio Engineering (SAE) and building a studio. Look out for their first 12" release in September on the historic Roman label "Urban Pressure"...Stay tuned.
