About
NumLoK A.K.A Marc Pendaz is a Bass Guitar player from Liverpool, United Kingdom. His musical background originates from classic Dub/Reggae with a large influence from jazz and funk thrown into the mix . In 2005 NumLoK moved to Copenhagen, Denmark where he traded in his traditional bass playing techniques for a more Digital approach to music making.
Addicted to low frequencies, he began to experiment with alternative styles and methods to producing music - it didn't take long for an addiction to form.
In 2007 he released his debut EP titled "Regeneration". Quote: "It's a pretty noobish attempt at putting a bunch of noises together that vaguely match some rythmn or beat that might be found somewhere far out in the cosmos... I sure as hell dont know what it is, or where it came from. I've hears some people call it Drum&Bass but I'm not convinced."
From there, his burning love for Dub/Reggae was re-ignited in the form of Dubstep. His 2nd EP titled "iriS" is due out this summer and contains a collection of his "favourite" Dubstep tracks produced between 2007 and 2009
