He has been producing hard-edged, warehouse techno since 1998 - both as a solo artist/act and as part of the Irritant double act, as well as playing frequent DJ sets at clubs, free parties, squat parties and warehouse raves. He has played many live shows all over the UK and in Europe, released his music on vinyl through his own label, Isotope Recordings (UK) under the Irritant moniker and has more recently been taking his solo live show out in the Bristol area.

OB1's emphasis has always been on raw, live production techniques, with his (and Irritant's) live p.a. being almost entirely unsequenced, allowing for a more reactive experience.

OB1 is currently working on solo projects as well a new direction for the Irritant live p.a. - you can catch his DJ sets and live shows on the Beat Transfer Protocol Internet radio station, or at a venue near you soon!
