About
Obsil is a project by Giulio Aldinucci.
I was born in Siena in 1981 and began learning music when I was a child. Starting in the mid-1990’s, my musical interests began to focus mainly on electronic music. My personal “experimental” approach to music led me to use a multitude of instruments: from the early digital synthesizers of the ’80, or the more complex digital-analog “hybrid” instruments, to modern programming tools such as Max/Msp. In addition to this musical research, which always focuses on different synthesis methods and the use of his own recorded material, I also writes music for traditional instruments.
