Hello friends,
It's been a while, huh? Well, I have news. As some (but not most) of you know, I've been recording a new record. I'm very excited! This record will be my first full length, my first chance to wear the hat of producer, my first time on vinyl!, my first opportunity to interpret inspired thought with both creative freedom AND tracking resources present (thanks to David Matysiak, EJ Devokaitis, Molly Parden, Rob Evans and Alex Bhore!), the first time my efforts will have resulted in... well... dare I say... a real record (thanks to Chris Horne and Random Family Records!) and, besides all of that, this collection of songs is rich with personal significance that I am as relieved to get out of my system as I am eager to share with you. Whew! See why I'm excited?
So, it is in the spirit of excitement and gratitude that I offer you this tidbit. On Monday, September 14th, "Strung Finger of an Old Dear" (the single from the upcoming album) will be released digitally and available for free download. Download it, burn it, email it, share it, post it - I don't care what you do with it. It's yours. And if you like what you hear, you can pre-order the 7" vinyl (single and b-side) at the Random Family Records website.
As always, thank you for your support. I appreciate it more than you know.
~Heather
