Olivier Manoury Quartet

Funk / World / Acoustic

Paris, France

About

Olivier Manoury started playing bandoneon and became a bandoneon tuner and restorer. He now concentrates exclusively on playing turning professional in 1979. Since then he has played in many traditional tango bands, accompanied many singers and created his own bands Tangoneon, Tempo di Tango. His collaborations with double-bass player Yves Torchinski around Thelonious Monk, Maurice Béjart or Gotan Project didn't move him away from his faithful passion for the tango, convinced that this musical kind, just like the jazz, can remain only by the interbreeding.
