o n e a r m has always been a group impossible to define, impossible to pigeon-hole. Like a sudden meteor riding on no-wave influences, they've been sculpting into reality the melodic elements of a machine which captivates and hypnotises in a dual atmosphere of surface steel and true melancholy.
With a double graft of La Machoire's rythmic bulldozer section, one arm reafirms its direction. Dilip and Rico play it cool, like body-guards or Reservoir Dogs killers, their job is done effectively and without show, like a gentle tidal wave moving the new formula towards the maturity of their unique style - genuine trance.
With two bass, two drums, an electronic frame-up and a repertoire flowing in mid-tempo on a motorway lined with kaleidoscopic landscapes, a mechanism overcast by a clever and repetitive chant, the melodic ambiance of their new songs is u n s t o p p a b l e.
marcel perrin : un ortie show
"... From simple and superfluousless visuals to the quality of sound, one arm leads us through their magic and fluid dreams, like pure water drops..."

" Too Pure-wise pop... Soundly mastered songs through messy atmosphere à la Free Kitten... Their sample demo is a real record....
I love it ! "

i imagine dead machines in cemeteries, birds carrying their rotted eggs like berries, to be eaten by a witch atop a throne of burnt skulls... little goblins dancing on graves under a moon, full. you have very nice sounds, and very nice moods. thank you for your time and words on my humble tunes. splinterskin
