About

"Owing Adam" is taken from Romans 1:14, where Paul wrote,"I am debtor both to the Greeks , and to the Barbarians: both to the wise, and the unwise."All men are sons of Adam, and as Christians, we owe them the opportunity to accept Christ by communicating the precious gospel of Jesus Christ to them. God has lead us not only to share with our words day to day , but also through the language of music that He might draw all men unto himself through the passion of a call to worship.
"Owing Adam" also mean that we owe Christ. In 1 Corinthians 15: 21,22, paul also wrote, " For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." Because of this verse and other verses in Romans, Christ is sometimes referred to as the second Adam. Paul also wrote in Romans 8:12, " Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh." The verse is a direct word from God that we are debtors to Christ, to live after the Spirit.
Because the first man sinned, we are all born sinners. Sin requires the penalty of death. Because Jesus Christ never sinned and yet died (2 Corinthians 5:21), He took the penalty for those that have sinned. The Bible also says that Christ became alive again on the third day of his death conquering death forever for those who would believe in Him. We can partake of this eternal sacrifice that He has made for us and His resurrection simply by believing, confessing our sins and turning from our sin to God, who not only forgives us, but becomes our Father and our Friend. Romans 10:9 and 10 say, " That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." If you have not confessed your sins to God, will you bow before Him in humility today and believe and confess that you are a sinner to Him? He Died for you.

We wish to share God's love with anyone. If you don't agree with us that 's cool. We just want to give you an opporunity to know Jesus Christ in a real and personal way. If you have any question about Jesus and His sacrifice or you have chosen to believe and confess today please leave us a message. We would love to talk to you.

The group began receiving invitations to play outside the local congregation and decided that they needed a name. It had to be a name that fit the evangelistic efforts of the group and uplifted the name of Christ. After much deliberation, the band chose "Owing Adam" to signify the debt that saved men have in owing lost humanity a chance to hear the gospel of Christ. "Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are in Rome also." (Romans 1: 13- 15). "Owing Adam" also signifies the debt that we have toward Christ, our Creator and Redeemer. "Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. . . For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so buy the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. . .That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 5: 14, 19, 21). I Corinthians 15: 45- 47 portrays Christ as a second Adam. It is to this second Adam that we all owe a great debt; we owe Him everything that we have. The band's music is just one sacrifice that we lay on the altar to the One who has given us true life. Owing Adam will go where He tells them to go, sing what He tells them to sing, and preach when He tells them to preach. We owe the §on of man.
