Argentine born Paula Antomarioni a.k.a. Paulice has
been in touch with music since her early childhood.
Her musical journey began in the school’s, followed
by the church’s choir, through a renascent musical
group, including flute and guitar playing, all the way
to a fleeting appearance in an alternative teen punk-
rock band. Paula’s musical background has also
been strongly influenced by classical, soul, blues,
jazz, tango, funk and Latin rhythms. She got turned
onto electronic music in the late nineties,
particularly she was fascinated by the early Chicago
influenced minimal and acid tech house.
Nowadays she’s studying piano, and is showing
strong appetite for multi-genre fusions, for blending
her musical roots into a minimalist concept, from
techno to house, reminiscing old school legends, all
of the above present in her productions and live
sets.

Some feedback on the release....
"Music often has the uncanny ability to reflect something of the person who
makes it. With Argentine-born artist Paulice, the sounds of her existence
bleed into the track itself, as jungle crickets, car horns, city samples and
cat meows grace a quirky selection of techno tracks that err on the side of
minimal while nonethetless incorporating -- and reinterpreting -- a few
Chicago motifs from days gone past, including jack percussion, synth stabs
and cut-and-paste sampladelia. The effort is sometimes strange and for the
most part successful, with remixes by Agaric and [a]pendics.shuffle
sublating the evident and letting it go moody & dreamy (somewhat
unexpectedly in the case of [a]ppendics.shuffle; at points it sounds like he
is trying to do a Loco Dice) or into eerie minimalism (as in the case of
Agaric, who keeps working Paulice's Latin-infused percussion to good effect:
this is the one for the floor). While "Southamerican Circus" explores the
reaches of southamerican sampladelia -- a circus indeed -- Paulice's
sweatiest outing is with her Wild edit of "Meneo." As "Circus" dances around
like the clown-act it is (and clowns can go murderous, hide in your basement
and carry a knife: don't forget), "Meneo" slips into a slinky, drum-filled
tempo, throws a swig or two of Argentinian pisco down the Windy City's
gullet, and brings Chicago to its quivering, jelly-filled knees."
-Tobias Van Keen (Control To Chaos)
"Yet again, another killer releaase from Adjunct. My favorite is Agarics backwards man mix...but all trax will get some air time!! thanks!!"

- Noah Pred (Thoughtless Music)
"The original mix of South American Circus is really sublime – warm, pretty, grooving, interesting melodic materials and sound design. And speaking of sound design.. as usual my boys from COTK are killing it on their Meneo remix. Dark vibes, thick grooves, tasteful percussion, and nasty synth work. Nice!"
-J.Rogers (Blipswitch, Surya Dub, Zaraza)
