"...dark, sexual, sensual, confessional, and confrontational -- all at the same time... a poet..."
Performing Songwriter
..a scintillating mix of R&B, funk, hip-hop, rock, and gospel."
Matt Gallagher, Electronic Musician
"As a band leader, songwriter, and producer, I feel pc muñoz embodies the best skills of his peers in the music business."
Dr. Fink, Prince and the Revolution keyboardist
"...unique and worthwhile..."
Mark Kramer, West Coast Performer
"Everything from...the exotic Chinese drums he records with and his complicated cultural background screams variety. One thing is for certain. "pc" does not stand for politically correct. Lyrically, muñoz likes to take on politics, religion and a little kinky sex."
Delfin Vigil, San Francisco Chronicle
"Great work. It's all too rare to hear someone breaking new ground in the pop field."
John Zorn, Composer
"... muñoz consistently redefine(s) himself, sailing effortlessly across artistic categories..."
Marian Liu, San Jose Mercury News
"...in the spirit of Gil Scott-Heron... pc muñoz is an excellent urban poet with a lot to say."
Mark Guerrero, Singer-Songwriter/Chicano music historian
"...beautiful and compelling music..."

I believe today's music artists are called to do more than simply recycle past forms and concepts. I'd like to kill the pop song, but I love it too much.
New music out now; a goth-funk cover of Pixies' "I Bleed", featuring Oakland's mighty FEMI, is now available on itunes as part of the "Bonus EP" of Dig for Fire - A Tribute to Pixies, a Pixies tribute project put together by Pixies' management and American Laundromat Records. A radical new album, Grab Bag, will be released likely in the Summer or Fall of '08, featuring brand new tracks, including "Disappear" (featuring Ingrid Chavez), "Archery" (featuring Joan Jeanrenaud), and "Chatter and Buzz" (featuring Micropixie). I haven't been on the road much lately..busy in the studio. Having fun as staff producer for Talking House Productions---great bunch of music cats. Upcoming production projects include a brave new solo album by longtime Kronos Quartet cellist Joan Jeanrenaud, new singles with pop-rocker BRAY, a razor-sharp R&B EP with gospel-soul powerhouse Carmen Jones, and a collection of brand-new material from funk-soul artist FEMI I'll be doing more live shows with my new group, pc muñoz's left hook, later in '07.
