Pendle Poucher is a Brighton based composer, sound designer and lover of funny noises.
He has written, produced and performed soundtracks for every major UK TV station and many more all over the world. He has devised large scale public art projects and written chart-topping dance music, occasionally his work has won awards.
Pendle used to play guitar in Rough Trade signed, art-pop combo Butterfly Child , but these days he releases his own music as alter-ego idmonster.

BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN: Live performance of electronic score with Ed Hughes and the Chroma Ensemble for classic film performed with orchestra at Brighton and Cheltenham Festivals.
STEAM DRIVEN: Live audio/visual performance with guitars, laptops and a 14 ton Corlis steam engine a the British Engineerium, a part of the Brighton Festival.
THROUGH THE SURFACE: Fabrica Gallery, Brighton. 3 month artist residency with regular live improvised audio performances resulting in 3 mini albums and a collaboration with classical composer Edward Hughes as part of Brighton Festival commission Memories of Colour.
HENLEY FESTIVAL: Headlining live laptop music performance at posh music festival.
LAPTOP JAMS : A founder member of live laptop performance group with monthly events in Brighton and ICA, London plus festival appearances all over UK and Europe.
SLAPSTICK DRIP: Filmless film soundtrack commissioned by the Audible Picture Show for performance in a darkened cinema as part of Brighton's Cine City Festival and Rotterdam Film Festival, and many international festivals since.
ROADWORKS : Large scale soundpiece, soundtrack album and TV documentary for a project which transformed 10 central London bus shelters into art installations.
