Yesterday afternoon, we had the priveledge to meet Denim Owl. Janita, Joe and Aleks joined Crook for a lovely, lush performance at the Empress Hotel, and invited us to come see their other band later that evening. We spent some time with some Hamilton friends for dinner and drinking games. Karl and Jess both lost spectacularly at Circle Of Death.

Mike and I left before it got really messy. We headed for the Edinburgh Castle in East Brunswick to see Single Twin and the amazing Aleks + The Ramps. Our new friends Janita, Joe and Aleks had cranked up the banjo a few decibels, grabbed a drummer and another guitarist, and become a wild circus of percussion-juggling, hand-standing and animal noises.
