Video | "Seeds" by Candlestickmaker is one of my favorite IDM-albums of the past. His new follow-up called "A Life in a Day" isn't that much melodic, lollypop and colourful and I don't know yet, if I like it. Please taste it yourself on Upitup.

But... The video for the song "Take Me Elsewhere" is just one thing: Incredible!

I can't get the impression out of my head, that Candlestickmaker cooperated here with some one from the demoscene - to be precise icecream-xtruder. If you are a collector as I am, be fast and download the original mpg-file coming along with the album (have a look into the txt-file).

    FTP-Programm | FileZilla ist mein Haus- und Hof-FTP-Programm. Und mir seit eben noch einmal ein Stückchen mehr ans Herz gewachsen. Denn mittlerweile beherrscht das frei erhältliche Open Source-Programm auch Tabbed FTP-ing. Ähnlich wie bei modernen Browsern kann man seit Kurzem auch in FileZilla verschiedene FTP-Verbindungen in verschiedenen Reitern öffnen.

    Besonders praktisch ist die Funktion, wenn ich z.B. mal wieder ein Plugin auf mehreren WordPress-Installationen aktualisieren muss. Dazu habe ich mir in FileZilla einfach über den Server-Manager einen Ordner mit Namen Plugins mit direkten Verbindungen in den jeweiligen Plugin-Ordner angelegt. Somit springe ich mit einem Klick in das jeweilige Plugin-Verzeichnis und lade das Plugin hoch. Zack im nächsten Schritt öffne ich ein neues Unterfenster und öffne mit STRG + S wieder den Server-Manager und das nächste Plugin-Verzeichnis,... und so weiter. Ich freu mich immer ungemein, wenn stumpfe Arbeit noch ein wenig schneller erledigt ist.
