PHRICTION MAGAZINE MISSION STATEMENT
PHRICTION Magazine’s mission is to be a reliable, down to earth resource for indeviduals interested in the world of underground music, art, writing and the trends that impact our genneration (however lame they might be).
We seek to give a voice to the reader (thats you) and provide through our publication (phriction magazine...) the means for you, the reader to be read, seen and most importantly heard.(Damn the man fight censorship!) (And your mom will be soo proud!)
Fundamental to PHRICTION’s vision are the following principles that will guide our direction (why the hell we are doing this?):
* Unbiased and in depth coverage of the world music sceene.(stuff about freaking killer bands all over the world)
* Create a community that respects individual contributions and values the diversity of the group.(we dont make fun of the other kids...unless they really piss us off...it's our call)
*Seek to bring new art into the public eye.(So Rolling Stone won't write you back?? Fuck 'em we think your great!)
*Celebrate creativity, balance, humor, and connectedness.(we aren't boring...not intentionally anyway...)
* And above all have a good fuckin' time and put out a kick ass magazine for you all each week!

Here at Phriction we are freakin' nuts about new, and well, good, music!! Please feel free to submit any reviews of new CDS, bands or conerts you saw, or even any rants (professional or otherwise, clean fucking language though please..) about the world of music today. God knows they give us enough ammo'.

Feel free to submit your art, music, poetry, and articles about whats going on in your crazy world...the one in your head or outside your door...doesn't matter! We'd love to read, look and listen to 'em.

We LOOOOVE photography here at PHRICTION. Of all sorts, fine art, fashion, social/political, music (mmmmmmm music.....)
We would absolutely love it if you were to submit your work to us, especially if you were to say... I dunno' cover a show for us?? FAB!
Also we will be putting up postings about the types of articles that will be in each issue so you can submit stuff that is relevant to the theme... awwww we are all grown up with a theme and everthing! (sigh*)
