"Kids in the UK have co-opted an annoying noise sold to retailers as teenager-repellent and turned it into a ringtone."

"The kids have reportedly converted the high-pitched noise and turned it into a ringtone, which, being inaudible to grownups, can then be used to receive texts and calls in class without alerting teachers."

A year after I intended it, the re-design is done. I've been squeezing it in to weekends here and there, but finally gave it full attention this weekend. Amazing what can be done when inspiration finally comes.

I decided to keep the pinktaffy.com domain for my personal stuff and let the pinkfu.com domain be more design/web/work/professional/etc related. I'll just curse less on pinkfu.com.

Hey, everyone keep your fingers crossed in hopes that the company (coughpinktaffyDESIGNScough) who stole my name ends up on Oprah (they're trying very hard, I am amused by their efforts). You just know that will bring on the legions of mom-tards coming directly here. If that does happen, I am going to put a nice big welcome for them.

If you happen to sell baby crap or related and would like to take advantage of this hosebag company's dumbass name choice (and often bad coding that sends their customers to my 404), please let me know. I will put your link on my site -- for free.

I never EVER sell links or get paid for advertising on this site. They must be earned. :)

A List Apart Presents:
"The Web Design Survey, 2007"
(From the post) "Designers, developers, project managers. Writers and editors. Information architects and usability specialists. People who make websites have been at it for more than a dozen years, yet almost nothing is known, statistically, about our profession. Who are we? Where do we live? What are our titles, our skills, our educational backgrounds? Where and with whom do we work? What do we earn? What do we value?"Filling out this survey just depressed me. :/

It also reminded me to finish the random bits of CSS I always forget when I design for my own crap. (Did not define blockquote. Duh.)
