My top five of this week is just stuff that keeps me busy at work on Long Island's warm and breezy summer days.

#1 - Ozma

Ever since Ozma's latest album Pasadena came out a couple of months ago, I've been giving them a ridiculous amount of plays. They totes deserve it though. So many Ozma-related projects are worth checking out-- Daniel Brummel (singer/bassist) and his solo album Speak Easy [Coptic Records] and this demo by Ryen Slegr (singer/guitarist) and Kenn Shane (drummer) that was recorded during a jam session, "Beyond the Fire" (download). So good.

#2 - Stephen Jay Gould

Totally badass evolutionary biologist who wrote tons of essays that make science interesting! [Okay, well, I already think science is interesting, but I guess some people are turned off when they see an essay titled "The Validation of Continental Drift". But seriously, with others like "Is the Cambrian Explosion a Sigmoid Fraud?" how can you go wrong?] I recommend Ever Since Darwin.

#3 - Pokemon Pinball (Red/Blue)

Best game ever. I play it on my good ol' purple gameboy color. The game cartridge has a built-in rumble pack!

#4 - CLIF Bars

I feed myself one of these granola bars every morning. My favorite is Cookies 'n Cream, probably.

#5 - John Cusack

Seriously, I'm going to be really pissed if I have to elaborate.
