I'm going to go see one of my best friends in the world sing in his band. They've been together forever but I still haven't seen em live. But Dan, I love you. Dan was in My Hopes Dashed. They ruled all, as you know, if you're a fan of this label at all (are you?!). New video, showing off my CT crib. I return to Portland (wait for it) September 24th. So maybe I'll make a new crib video. Ugh. Crib is the worst word ever. Special top 5, coming from David Lizmi of Via Audio. "Saysomething, saysomething, saysomething" comes out September 25th on Side Cho. It comes out October/November from us in the vinyl +2 songs format. I just got the art today in fact, it's a cutie. I am in Connecticut. I posted a video of my folks' dog. Lots of fun things coming up I hope here in New England. Daniella came up with a top 5, enjoy it! My top five of this week is just stuff that keeps me busy at work on Long Island's warm and breezy summer days. #1 - Ozma Ever since Ozma's latest album Pasadena came out a couple of months ago, I've been giving them a ridiculous amount of plays. They totes deserve it though. So many Ozma-related projects are worth checking out-- Daniel Brummel (singer/bassist) and his solo album Speak Easy [Coptic Records] and this demo by Ryen Slegr (singer/guitarist) and Kenn Shane (drummer) that was recorded during a jam session, "Beyond the Fire" (download). So good. #2 - Stephen Jay Gould Totally badass evolutionary biologist who wrote tons of essays that make science interesting! [Okay, well, I already think science is interesting, but I guess some people are turned off when they see an essay titled "The Validation of Continental Drift". But seriously, with others like "Is the Cambrian Explosion a Sigmoid Fraud?" how can you go wrong?] I recommend Ever Since Darwin. #3 - Pokemon Pinball (Red/Blue) Best game ever. I play it on my good ol' purple gameboy color. The game cartridge has a built-in rumble pack! #4 - CLIF Bars I feed myself one of these granola bars every morning. My favorite is Cookies 'n Cream, probably. #5 - John Cusack Seriously, I'm going to be really pissed if I have to elaborate. But yeah, enjoy your summer, wherever you are. Pink Teeth is on virb. It's not like I'm new to virb, I was invited to do some profiles for Slowdance who was ahead of the game. Then I got a personal profile. Then I slacked. But so many great labels (like my friends at Range Life and Marriage ADD THEM) are doing the label thing here and I felt a tad left out. So here comes the Teeth. Fuck yeah. I hope to get the kids on track so we can add some music on here. I hope to set this profile apart from Pink Teeth's other presences on the world wide web.
