Adobe CS3 Announced

Well CS3 has been announced. After looking through all the packages Ive come to one conclusion. The addition of the Macromedia apps to the adobe family creates a need for a new bundle scheme. The old/current scheme was fine with previous iterations of the programs both on the Adobe side and the Macromedia side. But now is a little ridiculous. I say go with the combo menu approach - "Pick 5 for $1999", "Pick 3 for $1200", etc.. This makes everyone happy and helps those of us who are going to be forced to either buy apps they dont need or deal with extremely complicated licensing schemes. Luckily for me its going to be easy because there is only one app that i need that isnt included in the Design Standard bundle (Fireworks), but i can see this getting annoying for those who deal with a very particular facet across all three mediums represented (Print/Publishing, Web, Video). I mean yeah you can always get the master collection and be sure youve gotten it all, but then chances are you got a couple apps you dont need or want. Id be nice to be able to get Design Premium and just swap out Dreamweaver for Fireworks. Id also like to have Flash for those times when i need to look at some .fla's or something but i dont use it enough to justify spending the extra $$$ if its not in a bundle im getting for other reasons. Oh well...

Virb keeps stealing my music...

So i find it really strange that 2 times now after ive heard about a band or grabbed thier newest album based on a recommend from a friend it shows up on the front page of Virb. ITs unnerving in a way. Its like thier advertising/marketing department is stalking me. When i first signed up i thought it was funny that i had literally jsut grabbed the A Weekend in the City only hours prior to signup. Now i know Bloc PArty is fairly well known and this album has been reviewed with raves steadily since its release so i guess its to be expected. But now.. only days after hearing Rehab and a review of Back to Black and subsequently falling in love with it and picking up the album (as well as part of Frank) who should grace the front page but Amy Winehouse with a plug for Back to Black. Im scared. Virb is stalking me and my listening habits. Haha. On the upside, im thinking i should look in to anyone on the front page that i havent heard of since the Virb picks are 2 for 2 with my taste.
