29 year old based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Developer of websites, helper of the helpless & defender of all that is good (The first one is true anyway).

I enjoy being in sunny climates, reading and spending time with friends (none of which I do often enough). I watch very little tv. Scrubs, Stargate, Top Gear & the News pretty much covers what I see on the old idiot-box.

I like discussing serious topics as well as complete gibberish when appropriate with people who can appreciate both. I spend far too much time in front of my computer, drink far too much coffee and listen to an awful lot of music. I don't drive as I don't believe it makes sense buying a car to get one person about (seems a bit of a waste), but I am in the market for a motorbike.

I studied music in tech, played drums in loads of bands for a few years and then decided I'd make a better programmer than musician. I have a few friends who still play in bands around the place and I love going to see them play.

Hey all,

Although I am a web developer, I have a website and I have plenty to talk about (mostly geeky programming stuff), this is my first real blog post.
I thought I'd start by describing my plans for the next few weeks as they are pretty major for me.

I have decided that I will do my motorcycle test, get my license and buy a motorbike after many years of being a pedestrian. After searching around the internet for the last week or so, I'm pretty convinced the Suzuki SV650S (preferably red) is the bike for me. I've also looked at helmets, jackets, trousers & gloves.

So, here are the chosen accessories:
o Shoei Raid II helmet (plain black)
o Joe Rocket Phoenix 4.0 jacket (red & black)
o Spada Podium Trousers (black)

Of course, many of these items depend on availability from local retailers.
I have not yet decided on a good glove for the beautiful climate here in Ireland (mostly cold & pissing it down), if anyone would like to offer tips or advice on this subject, I would appreciate it.

Cheers;
