Transparent Despair - Wellness in America
An improved health care system after four years still meanders through accountability. Not unlike the families that pace down hallways, within waiting rooms or driving absently along our roadways. Carrying the injured and sick towards hospitals now find barriers created by omissions provided within by Gov. Schwarzenegger's health care bill. Protective inclusions, providing access to information for patients were rejected wholesale - dutifully negating any progress our healthcare system may have had in developing greater sensitivity to the value of human life. More and more navigating economic pressures, audits resource: gauze, productivity, emergency room congestion and traumas as profit potential.
Impregnable walls erected by technocrats and lobbyist alike go as far as taxing profit on mortality. Sinisterly, marketing strategies as seen by our greater champions of wellness belie their accountability with such clever slogans encouraging, commanding us - with such disconcerting and egregious disregard - to "Thrive".
