Currency as an Articulated Engine Design Component.

Zoelite, what a great word. It sounds, well, like zeolite, something you might wear, maybe not, but certainly, if development continues, something you may eventually drive.

Zeolite is a material and technology which has application potential within the automobile industry. It, the material, absorbs nitrogen oxide (NOx) which is one of the deadly by-products of fossil fuel combustion engines. Thinking a little further, as it decomposes nitrogen oxide into nitrogen and oxygen, from the exhaust, it could also provide nitrogen, as students have found, fueling a “powerful nitrogen” engine.

Thinking green and sustainable practices, having an engine which provides for itself, or at least can power a separate generator for electricity or battery recharging, I found, is an interesting example of an articulated system. What is an articulated system? Referencing “What Type of Engine Would You Design, the solution to the problem given is a system where an engine and a system for application can distribute effort, control results, and ensure flexibility. The “engine” component of the pair of pliers given is the fulcrum. The attached system of levers, therefore articulate the effort provided by the engine, as mechanical leverage. This in turn creates force, or effort, which again through a system of articulation creates again effort through its system for application. What is application? Application is effort. A touch point which throughout industries is an engine opportunity. A touch point to ignite interest and create an avenue of communicaiton. Collectively, within communication and marketing as well as within manufacturing, a system such as this is pertinent, sought and very attractive.

More importantly as a system which requires little effort from any one engine, efficiency is a moot point as efficiency of a single engine is ensured. if the system of outlets, articulations, are designed correctly, and all outlets considered, the resultant force, awareness, opportunity, interest, investigation, involvement, contribution potential, within a leveraged system becomes reciprocal in nature. Equally important, as in a mechanical systems of levers and fulcrums, failure is avoidable as evidence is well ahead of catastrophe. Unlike current systems where management reviews stress efficiency within any one component, an articulated system is managed in structure development and oversight. Planning therefore is key. Reciprocity and alignment of services effectively creates a self governing and monitoring system.

Within the country outlined in a past article, the solution to what engine type best serves a growing or established society, it is information. Information is also a tool, a natural form within development. Its form mimics, in shape and effect, the desired result, knowledge. Like a fulcrum, it is both a repository and distribution point for effects. It is not necessarily a center for results. This may appear counter intuitive. We expect information to produce effects. That is the sought effect of all advertising and marketing. Provide information to the consumer and if designed correctly it will result in sales. However, were results the natural end form of information, interest as information would terminate within every product deployment. It does not. It, the resultant form of research and study terminates as a by-product requiring reactive approach to sustain growth – surveys, investigation and harvesting. A good example of this is found within urban environments. It, they are the information as all generally accepted ideas are harvested from within. Rather than being generated by marketing strategies as behaviour, their maturity, affluence, and market savvy fuels – and does not follow – marketing programs. The Gap, Target, Chrysler, and just recently Pepsi – all – acknowledge this.
