When you make your home in the American Land

Mom had her citizenship test this morning, at 9:10 am. She passed!!! Her swearing in is Monday at 2pm, then she will finally be a US citizen, after living here for 35 years. hahah. Go mom!! The brother, mom, and I are all going out to dinner tonight to celebrate.

Finally got more info. My last day here will be February 8th. That works out nicely -- I'll have work for the next 2 months, then one week after I'm laid off is time for my vacation to LA. That week before going out of town, I can file for unemployment, so I'll have …
