QUO is the musical brainchild of Ryan Nichols, a Chicago based producer of modern psychedelic music. Established in 2001, QUO has been evolving since conception. Combining elements of ambient, dub, classical, & down tempo among other things, QUO creates an environment transcendent of it's parts. Upon first listening it is apparent that no amount of categorization can describe the alien landscapes to which QUO transports listeners. Finely balanced between aesthetics & academia QUO plays like the soundtrack for an expanding universe. Infinitely large and small, QUO is a timeless meditation on the boundlessness of nature.
