"Random Soul" is the brainchild of 2 of Australia's biggest house DJ's/Producers, Yogi and Husky. The duo was formed in the summer of 2005, with the hopes of bringing a fresh and unique sound to dance floors across the world.

With elements of soul, jazz and funk, the guys bring an underground, yet accessible flavour to their productions, and incorporate live vocals and keyboards into their performances, while keeping their play lists eclectic.

The boys have signed numerous EP's to house music's most prolific labels to date. Those labels include Miguel Migs' own San Francisco based Salted Music, Jay-J's Shifted Music NYC, Celebrity Records Minneapolis and Barcoda Recordings in the UK.

Proving its popularity amongst a wide range of DJ's and clubbers, their first EP with Salted held the number 1 spot on both traxsource.com and stompy.com. Their productions are now on high rotation with the worlds largest house DJ's, including Miguel Migs, Jay-J, Grant Nelson, Richard Earnshaw, Inland Knights, DJ Heather and Joshua Heath.

Random Soul have also been on remix duties for a growing list of artists and labels, including Chuck Love, Justin Michael (Hermosa recordings), White Lotus Club (Germany), Nathan G (Luvbug) and Ministry of Sound Australia.

In January of 2008, the duo was asked to mix and compile their first CD compilation, Hed Kandi's "Beach House", for Ministry of Sound, which features numerous original tracks and remixes from their growing catalogue.

Showing no signs of slowing down, Yogi and Husky have also been collaborating with a number of reputable artists from across the globe, including Jay-J, Vincent Kwok and Silky (Seminal Grooves UK) These collaborations have resulted in the tracks being snapped up for release.

Internationally, their fan base is constantly growing. Having completed 2 successful tours to the USA, playing twice at the world renowned, Winter Music Conference Miami and going on to tour all over America at clubbing institutions such as Balance (LA), Pink (SF), First Avenue (Minneapolis), Tokio (LA) and Le Souk (NYC)

Yogi and Husky are often booked to play around Australia too. Visiting Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra regularly, they are rocking floors whatever the postcode may be.

Not only recognized for their ability to bring their flavour as headliners, the boys are often called upon to warm up or finish the night off for an ever growing list of touring internationals, including Miguel Migs, Jay-J, Julius Papp, Chuck Love, Mark Grant, Albert Cabrera, Scott Wozniak, Jamie Lewis and Ron Carroll.... to name but a few.

Upon each return from overseas, Random Soul is becoming the force to be reckoned with in house music. As their production basket, remix schedule and international touring only increases, the boys are definitely being recognised as more than just a back-to-back dj set.

Individually they are promising as DJ's/Producers, but together, they have really set their sights to bringing back that one-of-a-kind and sorely missed clubbing and musical experience.

The sky is the limit for Random Soul, with the right blend of ambition, musicality, skills and know how; they are sure to be a success, here in Australia and around the globe.
