hi i'm becca. i love JESUS. like crazy =) i go to school in san diego...i didn't used to like it, now i do. im home for now, and it's great. i love it here, but san diego has my heart too. my family rocks, they're hilarious. my friends are neat, they're funny too. i'm obsessed with church. no, really, i am =) work is crazy, but it's money. basically, life is good. friends are good, family's good, church is GOOD....but mostly, GOD IS GOOD. yesss HE is. and HE always will be...don't ever doubt that. oh, and while you're at it, listen to some HILLSONG....it's the best =)

- - This has been such a sweet prayer for the day. As God has taken a firm hold of me and lifted me high above all that has brought me down and taken me captive for a moment too long. It's hard not to talk about how good He is. And I know you know this...so I hope that you can delight in the work of God in a life that isn't your own, but of someone who I assume you care about -- :) Thanks for caring for me and sending your prayers. I know that you have also been a part of shaping who I am today...that God has used you to encourage me more than anyone I know. My heart is all for the Lord, but know that there is very special place in it where my love for you resides.

OH! PRAISE GOD, Creator of Reebs and the concept of awkwardness.! How mighty is our King! Mighty enough to be King of Kings! He's so REAL. And the fact that He delights in us, blows my mind. Look at me...C'mon, who delgihts in something such as I; NONE but JESUS.! And you, my friend, are quite pleasing to our Savior. Not just because you're black or that you call HimLord, but because you seek the will of the Father. Sweet Becca...sweet, precious, 12yr old looking, little Becca...would you just continue to join with me each day and praise our God? Will you throw up your hands and do a little raising of the roof for Jesus? DON"T FEEL AWKWARD. I pray that the next time you are worshiping whole-heartedly in your car that it would be safe enough to blast the music, sing aloud, and lift a hand high....that anyone driving next to you would really want to try and figure out what the heck you're doing! That they would want to KNOW What is making you burst with blinding rays of light and joy that you just couldn't hold it in or care less of what people are thinking of you. I wonder what difference it would make if we really sought out to save the lost. Do you think that you or I could be apart of saving souls in great numbers? It sounds good, don't you think? It sounds like that's what we're supposed to do. That we should be stepping out of Starbucks and noticing a homeless person only to stop, kneel down, and ask if they know Jesus.... Why is that so hard though? Why do I always hesitate to speak of the name Jesus? The name that you said today, IS so incredibly powerful! Dang, I want to be in some place like Corinth and walk around telling people the Good News. It seems as though it would have been a lot easier to do it then. But then again, i'd probably be arrested and stuff. Dude, but I could totally go around San Diego without getting arrested! There's no excuse!!! What am I doing!?

It's always a pleasure hearing from you, especially your hi. hello. phone calls. YOU crack me up. Though you should know that in case your self-esteem is suffering. But then again, if it is, that's kinda stupid because HI. HELLO. you have Jesus Christ . Anyway, I'd like to say a few more things, but it's funny because I don't really know what I'm going to say yet and I'm just making it up as I type because I have the time to do this because it's not like I have any other VIRB friends to write or respond to. :) SO....definitely feel blessed. Which brings me to my next point, what's up with all of your blessings man!? You get the rain, I get the heat.? SO NOT COOL. HA...but it's all about presenting the requests baby! Of course...with thanksgiving and all. Anywho, you just rock my world and are definitely one of the biggest blessings in my life.
