I've been hanging out downtown a lot lately. It's so liberating. To be free from everything I know for a while. A place where no one really knows me and I can mold who I am in their eyes. Where I have the confidence to be who I am, without worrying that someone else will think I'm faking because they know me different. Where I have the courage to hint on someone if they're close enough to my age ;] [just kidding - a lil' bit.] We're having a slumber party down there tomorrow night at Ms. Cat's studio. I never got to watch LOTR today. I might cry. But that's okay, because I finished Howl's Moving Castle - the book is way better than the movie. And I started the Artemis Fowl series. And I've gotten most of my schoolwork done already, I just need to do my Science and my Math, and those are my favourites, so they won't take long. I've been basking in music more lately. Have you seen The Invisible? You know that scene where Annie just forgets about everything and jumps around to the song playing in the club? I decided that that's what music should be about sometimes. Forgetting, relaxing, releasing. So I'm using it for that right now =]
Books for escaping, Music for relaxing, and Schoolwork for the future that's bound to become the present =]
