Red Dawn Designs was founded by me, Dawn Gray, in 2003 by painting lil' paintings and selling them in my coastal tourist area.... Outer Banks, NC. I am now working with children who do not have the opportunities to paint or take art in school in Nicaragua. I just got back from working all over the country of Nicaragua from the huge city dump of La Chureca (where 1500 people live) to the coast lines of the beaches of Nicaragua. I am planning on moving out there soon to volunteer and teach full time in different schools and with different community outreach programs. I will also be working in the dump of La Chureca twice a month to continue my work with my beautiful new friends. I am going to be helping start a art co-operative for the village I will be living in and also helping with some feeding programs...please go to my website or my myspace for lots more info. I do, sort of. I introduced myself (via email) a few months ago and have asked him for counsel with the site and photography. I really enjoy looking at his work . Are you in Nicaragua? Hope you are well
