Beauty is something that is hard to define, but it is so central to life. Life with out beauty is hopeless.

That's why art, music, poetry and story is as important as bread and water. It's why the homeless in New York City will go with out a meal for a whole day just to buy the newest hip-hop album. It's why they best art is created in some of the worst circumstances - during wars, depression, famine, suffering and death. Beauty gives hope to the hopeless, strength to the weak, passion to the passionless, and purpose to those who lost it.

At Renovo we see beauty as a central part of our journey. We encourage all to create and share beauty. Whether that's painting or sculpting a work of art, writing a poem, a song or a book, decorating your living room or kitchen, directing or filming a video, photography and graphic design, even caring for your garden or landscape -- these all create beauty.

If we take the paradigm of Jesus Christ [a suffering Savior who conquered death on our behalf] into our hearts, there is a limitless amount of expression to the hope, glory and beauty that we could create.
