In 2004, Charlie Rosenbury and Justin Welsh began collaborating with the intention of simply making good music. Without any worries about production cost or fitting into a mold, the two explored music's possibilities in a studio in Branson, MO with a mix of acoustic, electric, and electronic instruments. After finding what they were looking for, the duo moved from Columbia, MO back to their hometown of Springfield, MO. Planning out each song on their home PCs, they went in to the studio with each track carefully mapped and detailed. What emerged was one of the most unique sounds Springfield had ever heard. The name [Reset] was established as well as the final roster after adding Preston Finkle as the bassist. The trio then began writing new material and the band recorded and released its first album, "In the Grey."
[Reset] looks to break the mold in modern music, creating something that is just as enjoyable without following any formulas.
