Well, we've been playing live again. Maybe not as much as we'd like, but I'm glad we're getting a little exposure again. A month or so ago we played at a hippie party in this dude's backyard, which was kind of surreal, but it was a lot of fun and everyone was really positive and cool. We also played an open mic at Rubber Gloves in Denton, met some people and ended up landing a spot at JJ's Pizza (also in Denton), where we played last night. We were joined by Ethereal and Found Souls' (hope I got the name right; I'm absolutely horrible at remembering names) drummer Matt Zmolik (total guess at spelling his last name...) who did an awesome job at improvisational drums for having never heard our music before. You can check out their myspace page here: http://www.myspace.com/danielhill1
We were also photographed by Denton Music's Josh Hogan (http://http://www.mydentonmusic.com) so hopefully we'll have some links to his article posted soon.
Finally, I'll be spending a good part of today combing through our practice session recordings, finding some tracks to put up here on virb.
Thanks to everyone who showed up at JJ's Pizza last night, and to anyone who digs our music. We appreciate you all. : )
