Some people are more...... aware....  than others. That has nothing to do with intelligence, its just that some people view the world through different eyes.

Photographers view the world as a photograph, capturing moments.

Musicians tend to view life as a seriese of lyrics. And that can be a beautiful thing.... but lyrics are exaggerated. They are intended to be powerful and moving, and that they are. But thats not always accurate. Emotions cant handle that level of intensity all the time, especially if its not genuine.

I should know this. I view life in this way, and its a constant battle to not exress myself in the most powerful way, even if i dont feel the magnitude of what im saying. And ive been on the other end of that as well....

Living life vicariously through a song can be wonderful... but eventually you grow tired of the same song. So you change. Well, if your the person in that song, and you get left behind, it hurts. Alot. For a long time.
