Hailing from Kansas City, RhapsodE now lives in Philadelphia and has performed venues, major festivals, and college campuses internationally from the world famous SOB in NY to Canada from Philly's well-known Black Lily at The Five Spot to the World Café Live. A performance artist of incredible talent, she transitions effortlessly and beautifully between singing, poetry, hip-hop, rock and jazz. Her spoken soul style has been the opening act for many great music acts such as Mos Def, Jaguar Wright, Fertile Ground, Talaam Acey, Taragirl and band Tangible Truth. "Spoke Inward" (2006), her debut CD project, is celebrating its one year anniversary of rave reviews and enthusiastic reception from lovers of real good music.
