So, as much as we've tried to keep up with our friends with MySpace, the realization has come in the past few months that we just can't. Firstly, there's no way for us to sort them all out. Secondly, many of the "friends" we seem to have acquired are using our friendship to post tons and tons of SPAM on our comments page. It's becoming a part-time job just to sift through the stupid comments for the ones that we get from real-life friends and fans (which we couldn't appreciate more!) So, upon learning of Virbº (which has the potential to be everything MySpace/Facebook should have been for both bands and listeners), we've packed our virtual bags and moved out. We'll probably come in and accept friend requests every week or so, but will no longer be "active" on MySpace.

Amongst the very awesome features on Virbº are:
* We can put ALL of our songs there for you to listen to
* You can have more than one song (I think up to 15) on your page from your favorite artists (us, right?)
* When we're in your area, it will let you know automagically.
* Your "music" friends and your "real" friends are seperated, and you can "tag" them to sort them out (I don't know about y'all, but trying to find the one person I was looking for on MySpace was completely impossible)
* It's way more customizable, but not to the point of being out of control. Instead of cramming all your junk into a single space with crazy code, it lets you create and manage as many "modules" as you'd like.
* Mashes up with Flickr so you don't have to upload your pictures twice (or 18 times if you're on many of these things)
* SPAM-free (so far...) I think it will be easier to keep the spam away as well, since the friends and comments features are a little more manageable.
* It's just better.

So yeah, I don't know if it will be the "MySpace Killer" or not (it should be, but who knows), but I really feel like it's better for communicating with our real friends and real fans.
