Bio Excerpt: Born in 1981 in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma) into a long line of specialized physicians and scientists, I challenged my stoic academic-centric upbringing and family to pursue photography.

Summer 2008 marked my sophomore year as a self-taught photographer with a resume already comprised of five covers with multi-page editorials totaling nine publications in national magazines of Spain, France, Australia, UK, and Germany.

Photography encouraged me to visualize the world through an artist's perspective with an insatiable intellectual curiosity of a scientist.
