One year ago ROSA LOVES started printing T-shirts.

It has been a great year and we are so grateful for what we have been able to be a part of this year. We have met hundreds of great people and have been blessed to be a part of this. It has been inspiring to us to hear from you and to see how people have come together behind the idea of helping people in need through T-shirts. Thank you all for this wonderful year and for your support of ROSA LOVES and especially the people it represents.

Much has happened this past year that we are so grateful for. Whether it was providing a walker for Glenda and a boat for Made or hearing how ROSA LOVES inspired others to begin their own project helping people in need-- there's been so many good things that have happened. We can't be more excited for the following year. Here's what you can be on the lookout for, and perhaps there is a direct way YOU can be a part of it!

BECOMING A NON-PROFIT
Since its beginning, the people behind ROSA LOVES have been putting in their time as unpaid volunteers. At certain times during the year, the demand for ROSA LOVES' work and fulfillment was extremely high and so many potential opportunities and work had to be delayed or dismissed due to lack of proper infrastructure with paid employees. This is something they are already working on for this year. ROSA LOVES has began the process of becoming a 501(c)3, which will enable them to operate as a non-profit. By attaining this status, they will be able to focus on fundraising, which will eventually lead to the ability to work as fulltime employees. This obviously will open up many more doors for them and will ultimately allow ROSA LOVES to help more people in need.

ART
ROSA LOVES wants to become involved and active with local artists. There are goals of throwing art shows and opening up the idea of ROSA LOVES on a canvas or through sculpture. This is still a little vague, we know-- but be on the lookout for ROSA LOVES using other forms of media and connecting with the people who are passionate and willing to participate. FILM
It's plain and simple. ROSA LOVES wants to use film to inspire and communicate its message/stories/artistic expression. There is so much potential in this area and it's only a matter of time and resources before ROSA LOVES will have the ability to use this powerful tool.

OUR ENVIRONMENT
One important goal for this year is to connect with printing resources that will allow ROSA LOVES to print primarily on organic fabrics using nontoxic inks. If you know of anything in this area that can potentially help out, please contact Mike Fretto (fretto [at] rosaloves [dot] com).
