so i am on vacation this week visiting my Dad along with his wife, his adorable two dogs(one that I am guaranteeing I am stealing to bring home with me), my brother, David and a couple of my crazy aunts and uncles.:)
It's been fun! the weather here is sooo hot. BUT i absolutely LOVE this city. It's so fun just to be in an exciting place. More than all that, its so great to get to hang with family i hardly ever see.

I am flying a red eye rounf trip saturday night( and it is REALLY red let me just say...i have a 4 hour layover at 5 AM in memphis til my flight home....) I am going to be EXHAUSTED! BUT. No matter how tired I am and how much my bed will be calling my name, I actually am going to make it to FREEDOM WEEKEND. It was coincidental that I get home with enough time to do that so i am happy:) I love me some goo goo dolls...ha! So. I can't wait to see them live...as well as the great Augustana. I am forseeing a spectacular show...atleast I hope!

So as I am here this week, be in prayer. Spending time with family is such a blessing, but I want to make a difference and shed some light to those in my family who really need to see it.

I love my big italian family. They are hilarious!!! We had a feast last night....WHEW. I wish I had all that cooking year round! I'm a pasta frrrreak!!! Maybe that cooking gift will rub off on me sooner than later...:)
