About the music
Some Music for Li Chiao-Ping: The music was composed for the Li Chiao Ping dance company, for an evening length work called Laughing Bodies, Dancing Minds. It's scored for String Quartet and Electronics, (my laptop, almost exclusively.) Some additional sounds from Chiao-Ping herself and the dancers.
Moth / Lightbulb is, according to my brother-in-law, good music to play during sexual intercourse. As for me, 5/4 is a challenging time signature for said activity, but I leave it for the discerning listener to decide for his/her self.
Modular Music Ensemble is a group I put together to play a composition called Permutations. The piece is meant to be performed live, and is structured such that the movements may be ordered in 4 different ways:
Alef, Bett, Interlude, Gimel Dalet, or
Bett, Gimel, Interlude Dalet, Alef, or
Gimel Dalet, Interlude, Alef, Bett, or
Dalet, Alef, interlude, Bett Gimel.
Soundtracks is a collection of cues from two short films I scored music for: Book of Small, a slient (...) film directed by Garret Chingery, and Home on the Range, directed by Michael Goldberg, a Romantic comedy taking place on a golf course.

A stimulating soundscape old chap! Considering my dear wife and I once attended a ballet danced almost entirely to the accompaniment of a siren, electronic music holds little fears for me. Well, except perhaps for the opening of 'Brink' which had me taking cover behind the chaise longue as I believed I was under mortar fire. The arrival of the string quartet was most welcome...
