Hey Friends,

As most of you know we're playing our "Farewell Show" on August 8, 2008 at Schubas Tavern in Chicago. This is a really big deal for us and we've asked our good friends (and favorite Chicago band) Horse In The Sea to join the bill and Sera Cahoone (Subpop) will play as well. We normally design (or ask friends to help design) a poster to advertise our shows. As this is a time to both celebrate and lament, we've decided to celebrate with a competition!!

Here's the deal:
We're looking for the perfect (11"x17") poster to advertise/celebrate the "Farewell Show" of Rue Royale. The winner will have their poster printed up and displayed throughout the city of Chicago, get a FREE CD from both Rue Royale and Horse In The Sea as well as FREE t-shirt from both bands and FREE entry for you (+ 1) to said advertised show!! That's 2 FREE CD's, 2 FREE t-shirts and 2 FREE tickets to the show..

Here's the catch, all entries must be / have:
- Submitted by Wednesday night at 12am.
- Designed to fit 11"x17" format

Show Time: 10pm
18+ $8.00
