So, I haven't blogged in a while, but I believe that is the least of my worries (and yours too).

I am not writing this just to write. In fact, I am trying to become more deliberate with my words. In my efforts to follow Christ, I have realized that I spend my words too freely. So freely, in fact, that they may lose weight and meaning. For a follower of Christ, I believe that practicing good communication with the Father, with ourselves, and with others is important for our lives and our mission. Using my God-given gift of speech is something that should not be taken lightly.

My prayer is that our words may be effective. That we might weigh our words, but not be tedious; that we may speak to the soul, and not to shoot the breeze.
