Here's a little bit of who I am...
I'm a follower of Jesus Christ who has been rescued by Christ from a life that was consumed with drugs, sex, ego, women, selfishness, lust, and a bunch of other things that made me into a people pleasing, looking for love in all the wrong places, self-centered, fake, backstabbing, pushover, shallow person. He also rescued me from death in a powerful way at one point in my downward spiral. For these things and many, many more I am eternally grateful for Christ and the sacrifice He made on the cross for me, bearing all the wrath and punishment I deserve, shedding His blood for me and giving me eternal life, joy, peace (in the midst of many trials and struggles), and giving me true LIFE in Him.
I am a husband of 7 1/2 years to Carrie who has been with me through the best and worst times of my life thus far. She is also a follower of Jesus Christ. I love her more than anyone on this earth. She is my bride, my best friend, and my teammate as we seek to reach people all over the world for Christ through music. Music is a universal language. It can transcend language barriers, as well as cultural and generational barriers. Everyone can relate to music in some shape or form. God uses music in many ways to bring glory to Himself. We hope to continue being a part of the plan He has to rescue lost people and use music as a part of His plan to that end.
I am a father to two beautiful girls- Isabelle Joy and Charlotte Grace. They teach me new things everyday. They are the most beautiful little girls on the planet.
I am the Worship Director at Evanston Bible Fellowship in Evanston, Illinois (just north of Chicago where we live). Check us out at www.ebf-church.org. All are welcome to attend.
I am a student at Moody Bible Institute where I am majoring in Biblical Studies with a Music Minor.
At Moody, I am the Student Chapel Music Coordinator.
I am a musician/singer/songwriter that has a LOT of new original music that I want to put on this page that fits into the CCM/Folk Rock/Indie style but haven't yet recorded it.
I have a strong desire to reach lost people for Christ around the world in a public music ministry.
I am about to be a church planter in St. Paul, Minnesota in summer 09', Lord willing.
I long to see followers of Jesus Christ wholly surrendered to Him, (I'm speaking to myself right now as well), offering their bodies and all who they are as living sacrifices to Him. Worship isn't just about music. It's a life long pursuit of Christ. It's a daily ordeal.
That's a little bit of who I am.

Ryan!!! That's so cool that you found me on Virb. I never thought to look you up here. I was just up with Charly at Maranatha last week and heard you were going to be there soon. Hope we'll be able to catch up soon. I like the MBI stuff. Looking forward to hearing more as you and Carrie write. We are doing a few of the songs from my page at Calvary. Thanks for the add! I used to see Gold Company every year at the Forest Hills Vocal Jazz festival when I was in high school. I was in the Vocal Dimensions from Holland High School. Love your voice, man!
