Well...
I'm a freelance writer. I'm the editor of a technology website, and a playwright involved in Chicago Dramatists. I'm a writer of screenplays/TV, and I'm interested in becoming a producer in the long run. I like with gadgets and technology and am annoyingly picky about image and sound quality and so on. I'm kind of a computer geek. I drink lots of cheap wine and scotch. I love Jack Kerouac. I like reading history books. I enjoy studying languages. Most of my friends are either academics or artists. I seriously considered going to law school but then, thankfully, came to my senses.
I grew up in rural Missouri, and hated it most of the time but really it did have its charms. My parents were missionaries to Honduras and I spent time living there when I was a kid. But I'm not terribly religious these days, though I'll always at least be interested in religion and philosophy and the like.
I like people who kick the darkness 'till it bleeds daylight. I like small people with big ideas and bigger hearts. I like people who have faith because I feel like I've lost mine. I value vision over visibility.
