Slam poetry is a huge part, if not overwhelming majority, of my life. I write and compete and recite as often as I can. I go to venues and host a venue every TUESDAY with my business partner Imani Lateef at The Prestige in Downtown Toledo next to the Amtrack train station. I am one half of the Hylife Media group, Imani Lateef is the other half. We organize and throw art-oriented events in Toledo, from hip hop and jazz to spoken word events. Something to bring a little life into the summer of Toledo, Ohio. It is quite a selfish endeavor for me really. I throw these events with Imani because I want events like these to exist so that I may attend them. I am working on recording my poetry and hopefully will be uploading more and more so that you may get an idea as to what I do. And as always, stand up Toledo... because no one can see your beautiful face if the crowd is all at the same, content sitting position.
Contact me if you have any questions about any events going on in Toledo, Ohio.
And by the way, I am on myspace and facebook also.

Gagosian Liga says:
"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov) Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany! Feel free to download my music!
